July dinner meet
The Skagit/Island county area meet will be on July 10th at Max Dales in Mount Vernon in the lounge. We start at 8pm, and are typicaly sitting in the far corner on the couches (if those are taken, we'll try for the seats in the raised area next to the couches). If you're not sure, just ask if this is the "finder group" (not as embarassing as saying the whole "Adult Freind Finder" thing). Also,... in the unlikely yet possible event that MD's has scheduled something else while we were unaware and we have to go elsewhere, we'll be across the street at the bowling alley in thier cocktail lounge. There are darts, pool, bowling (ya think?), and a chinese resturaunt next door that offers it's full menu to the lounge.
We've had some good numbers since we restarted the meet in Mount Vernon and hope to continue that trend. We've also started drawing people from other websites as well, so it's possible to meet completely new people as well.
Directions to Max Dales from I-5, take the College way exit and head East. At the 2nd light you should be at Riverside drive, take a left. Get into the right lane and about 4 blocks down look for a big white sign on your right that says Max Dales Steak and Chop House. Turn in at the sign an you can see the main entrance down the drive, the lounge is to your right as you enter the door.
NOTE: This is NOT a group grope, fuck fest, or any other place or time for people to get it on. DO NOT come out to a M&G thinking you're gonna get lucky, 99.99% of the time, you wont! This is just a safe, PUBLIC means for like minded people to get out, meet some new people, see some old friends, and enjoy themselves in the company of people that have the capacity to live the lives we do. |

Hey folks, we need to ask if someone will come forward and host the July meet for us, possibly the August as well. We need to take a few weeks off and take care of a few items, things that may get in the way of our ability to be good hosts. SO! Anyone game? We'll post updates as we can, we're hoping we dont have to can the whole thing outright, but really, if we dont hear anything by this Saturday we'll have to cancell it so there's enough forewarning.

July meet is cancelled Sorry folks, but without a concrete stand in we have to tank the meet for July. We'll let y'all know about August when that time comes. Sorry about this, but we've got things we need to do. D,J,&J | |||

damn i need to check this board more often....sorry you couldn't find anyone to step up to host july...Let me know if you need help with August and will ask the Mr if he would wanna host with me...*hugs* and hope you get things worked out | |||

That would be a no on us hosting August 14th. Workin the night of the 13th, up early to spend all day at a car show, and then we're headin out for a road trip EARLY the following morning. So yeah, timing isn't there, and we're still dealing with some things, so if someone wants to step up and do soemthing for August, now is the time to say so.  |
